To mark the centenary of the formation of the Women’s Army Auxiliary Corps (WAAC), later renamed the Queen Mary’s Army Auxiliary Corps (QMACC) WRAC Association member Marg Davies is undertaking a 100 mile solo walk to raise funds for the WRAC Association and Cancer Research UK. The walk will start on 13th March 2017 at the WRAC Association Plot, National Memorial Arboretum, Alrewas, Staffordshire. Using the canal towpaths of the Trent & Mersey, Birmingham & Fazeley, Coventry, Oxford, Grand Union and Stratford Canals, Marg will complete her 100 mile journey on 17th March at the Stratford-upon-Avon Canal Basin in time for the WRAC Association AGM and WAAC/QMAAC Centenary Dinner.
