Coronavirus (COVID-19) Help

The WRAC Association has been Supporting Women who Served for over 100 years.  In light of recent Government announcements relating to COVID-19 (Coronavirus), and in anticipation of potential new daily announcements, NOW is the time to step up and show that this support is available to all female veterans even, or especially, if face-to-face support is not possible or advisable.

‘Support’ is a many stranded word that can involve social, emotional, spiritual, physical, and even financial, support.  By tradition members have been given and received the best support through the local branch network (whether physical geographical or virtual social media branches).  With many geographical branches now likely to stop their regular get togethers (for coffee/cake, sport, meal/wine, or other social event) it is even more important for members to show their ‘support to each other’, and all/any women who have served, by staying in touch with each other via phone, internet, letter, etc.

If you’re an Association member who would like to offer or you’re in need of support use the forms below to let us know.

Association HQ staff will then endeavour to link up those that need support with those that can provide it.

Now is the time for us all to show, and prove, that ‘Supporting Women who Served’ is not just historical, but very much of the here and now.

Benevolence Help – If you would like the WRAC & ATS Benevolence Fund to consider financial support then your first port of call should still be SSAFA and/or the Royal British Legion.
