With permission from the Garrison Commander I am writing the story of Colchester Garrison and, as with Military Detention Colchester from 1947, Voices from the Glasshouse, I would like to make this a living history, written in the words of those who were there. Perhaps you or your family were based in Colchester Garrison, you passed through on your way somewhere else or you have some other connection? Whether you have a story that is recent or dates back to the Second World War, I would love to hear your memories and experiences. As with all my military history books, author royalties will go to a military charity, yet to be decided. Please contact Carole McEntee-Taylor on 01621 869567 or carolemct@talktalk.net.
