We’ve been hard at work progressing the WRAC Association website, and as you can see, we’ve now launched the next version. We’ve taken note of your feedback and have made some significant improvements in how the information regarding the Association is presented to our visitors and members. New areas of the site include a Photo Gallery, Member Directory, Member Profile, Online Lioness and readability enhancements…
For non-member visitors and members we now have an image gallery which will make it easy for you to view individual images or to have a slideshow with larger versions of the images that are displayed at the top of every page on the website.
We have expanded the member only pages to provide you with the ability to connect with other members. Every member of the WRAC Association now has the ability to have a website profile and the option to “opt-in” to the Member Directory. That means that you’ll be able to connect with former comrades if they have opted in. Our Member Guestbook is a great way to publish messages to the whole member community and we’ve added a dedicated Membership Renewal designed to make it easy to renew your annual membership online.
The next edition of the Lioness (current and previous Lioness editions are also available in PDF format) will be presented online and we’ll be enabling a feature called Comments. Our members will be able to interact with each other, and us, in the form of a discussion about each of the articles and we hope that this will allow you to have your say relating to Lioness content.
We’ve also built into the new website some accessability features that easily allow the text on the page to increase in size, which for those of us who sometimes find small writing on websites difficult to read should provide some relief!
If you need assistance in logging into the website, please contact us here at HQ.
